Sci Com and COVID-19.

During this time, the Science communication community has really come together to try and reimagine how we can come together and share our collective knowledge in the new world we find ourselves in. It has become apparent that things are going to have to change, but should we just buckle down and wait for this all to pass? or should we try something a little different?

Join us for a deep dive into the impacts that the COVID-19 pandemic has had upon the organisation of Scicom events, the negatives, and the surprising opportunities it has created. As well as the current role of science communication and transdisciplinary thinking and why they are needed in society right now.

Featuring

Dr. Edward Duca, the Project leader of SciCulture and Head-organiser of the Science in the City festival, Malta.

Dr. Annette Klinkert, Director of the European Science Engagement Association (EUSEA) and CEO of City2Science.
